Catastrophe Modeling
Our catastrophe modeling services include pre-modeling data analysis and validation, detailed exposure reports including year-to-year comparisons, comprehensive modeling summary reports, annual support for reinsurance placement, and primary ratemaking model support. AmericanAgTM utilizes models from two of the most widely recognized catastrophe modeling companies – Verisk and RMS®.
Exposure Management Tools
AmericanAgTM offers a range of proprietary and customized third-party tools to help Farm Bureau® insurance companies understand their current exposures and gain an accurate view of current or recent events. These tools – along with the expertise of our exposure management team – can also help you make informed decisions about current exposures and potential new business.
ICA Assistance Program
The Intercompany Cat Adjuster (ICA) Assistance Program was developed as a way for the Farm Bureau® insurance companies to support each other in preparing for and responding to a catastrophic claim event. The program is facilitated and coordinated by AmericanAgTM.

Farm Connection is a collaborative, comprehensive site featuring the latest information about farm exposures, trends, and products. Resources include our self-paced Farm Course, designed to give insurance professionals a foundational understanding of farming operations, so that they in turn can serve as trusted advisors to farmers and ranchers. Completion of all six Farm Course modules results in designation as an AgAdvisor.
