Tour of London and Lunch
NOTE: This activity is open to all attendees.
Hosted by AmericanAg®

Men: jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts, and sneakers
Women: dresses, skirt or jeans, t-shirt or casual top, and sneakers or flats
The day starts on a vintage Routemaster bus with a guide who will share interesting points along our way to the Tower of London. Steeped in history and prestige, the Tower was built by William the Conqueror more than 900 years ago to protect the King and control the city. Today the Tower is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remains the home of the magnificent Crown Jewels, including the Cullinan diamond, the largest gem-quality uncut diamond ever found. You also can explore the Tower’s ancient walls and see the Beefeaters (Yeoman Warders) and ravens, which according to legend, protect the kingdom.
From here we’ll enjoy a casual lunch at Traitors Gate, a truly quintessential London pub located a stone’s throw from the Tower of London.
After lunch we’ll finish the day with a ride on the London Eye – arguably the most unique venue in the city and the perfect way to see all that London has to offer. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the Eye sweeps the city skyline at 135 meters high and is an accomplishment in engineering and design.
At the conclusion of the ride, buses will be available to return to the hotel, or you may choose to explore on your own and return to the hotel at your leisure.

We have arranged an exclusive evening at Westminster Abbey for our group – a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience one of the world’s most breathtaking historic structures without crowds.
The evening will start with a private after-hours tour. Westminster Abbey is steeped in more than 1,000 years of history, with more than 3,300 people buried within the grounds, including kings, queens, scientists, poets, and actors. It also has been the setting for every coronation since 1066, and for many other royal occasions, including 16 weddings.
The tour will conclude in the Cloisters. Dating mainly from the 13th to the 15th centuries, the Cloisters were used for meditation and exercise by the Benedictine monks of Westminster. We’ll remain here to enjoy a relaxing reception followed by dinner, for the perfect ending to a truly unique night to remember.
